RoughnBootz is the next chapter in a legacy that began in 2014 with Ethos Leather. Founded in Seattle and later operating out of the woodlands of Maine, Ethos was built on a foundation of service to the BDSM community, specializing in handcrafted gear defined by accessibility, safety, and sustainability. Originally a wholesale provider, the brand expanded into direct retail to meet the growing demand for its hand-tooled craftsmanship. Today, under the stewardship of Odie and his slave, Craig, we have returned to our original home in the Pacific Northwest. We remain dedicated to the Ethos standard—utilizing only premium U.S.-tanned latigo leather and medical-grade stainless steel—while evolving the brand to offer cutting-edge gear and comprehensive BDSM education for a diverse and modern community.
